Teams are divided into small groups. They upload their team's virtual canvases. Teams began with an "epic virtual tour" of major museums worldwide while answering questions about art. A correct answer will assign them the necessary RGB codes that they will use to apply the correct colour to their digital drawing segment. Participants share the information they have discovered with their groups. If any information is missing, they must request information from other teams. They then proceeded to paint segments of the Big Picture. Once completed, the team saves and submits their image. The paintings are compiled to create a collective work of art. The event moderator reveals the picture to the group and guides them to discuss the important lessons from the event based on the results!
LEARNING OUTCOMES
The Big Picture continues to be the main team building activity emphasising the importance of collaboration and clear communication. Acquiring the colour codes to complete an image requires problem-solving and creative thinking. Achieving a cohesive “big picture” requires non-competitive thinking and collaboration within and between teams.
The "Big Picture" image can be customized to reflect your brand and company values. Depending on your needs, you can decide if participants will draw their segments digitally, with paint, crayons, or another medium.
