In May 2014, well travelled Catalyst Global CEO, Guy Baker, made his first visit to Japan to oversee the facilitation of a Catalyst team building event, "Flat Out Rickshaw". It was a great success. Capitalising on this opportunity, Guy met with several key team building companies during his visit. On meeting President Shingo Yoshimura and Business Development Manager, Etoh "Katsu" Katsuaki from Work Happiness, he felt an immediate alignment between Work Happiness and Catalyst Global. Work Happiness are specialists in organizational reform consulting, leadership management training, new employee training seminars and corporate team building located in Hamamatsu-cho in central Tokyo
Shortly after, Work Happiness indicated their interest in becoming a licensee of Catalyst Global products in Japan. Katsu explained that they are very busy with the day-to-day and like many other Catalyst Global licensee's are time-poor when it comes to product research and development despite seeing it as an important part of their business. He went on to express that Work Happiness are also very keen to join a global network of like-minded teambuilding businesses to share insights, sales leads and have fun along the way!
