In Toy Factory, teams receive mixed bags of wooden pieces and work together to assemble and decorate various high-quality children's toys. A three-dimensional blueprint guides participants through the process and explains the different toy designs. During the planning stage, the group identifies components, controls the flow, takes individual responsibility, and forms the production line. After conducting quality checks, the team creatively decorates the toys. They also create engaging and educational games using the newly assembled toys, which requires unconventional thinking during the second phase. A fun, informal finale allows each team to take turns on stage to demonstrate a unique activity that maximizes the play value of their toys.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
To achieve customer satisfaction, the team must build an efficient production line and quality control system. Not only do participants gain insight into customer service issues, but the manufactured toys also impact the real end customers, children in need. Participants feel a sense of togetherness by working together towards a common social goal. Whether it's a breakout session at a conference or a corporate workplace, Toy Factory is a flexible approach to team building that maintains the community's conscience.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OUTCOMES
All toys and game materials are donated to local charities, schools or orphanages.
